Previously on the Dark Side of Love, when actress Dominique Dunne is brutally strangled to the death in 1982 by her ex-boyfriend, John Thomas Sweeney, her friends and family are hopeful that he will be found guilty of murder.
However, the trial goes off the rails, as the defendant plays the jury, the judge acts like he’s working for the defense and the victim gets blamed for her own death.
And now, the verdict is in.
